Well, as promised, with the beginning of new 2012 year some changes occurred with the Top 1000 Movies Ever Made. These changes based on inclusion of the movies-masterpieces produced in 2006.

Robert Redford is 75!

On August, 18th Robert Redford is 75 years!The first time I have seen Redford, probably, somewhere in the late sixties. Why I speak «probably». Because then, a year at 68-69 I have looked a film «The Chase». But, probably, Marlon Brando’s charisma has completely eclipsed Redford.

To tell the truth, inclusion of this post into a category «Movie inspired» is not absolutely defensible. In this case has occurred exactly on the contrary: the events played in the Ural settlement Sagra, have cast to Sergey Dorenko associations with John Sturgess’s film «The Magnificent Seven».

Bulgaria and Judgment at Nuremberg

I think that I will not violate the truth, if I will name destruction of passengers of "Bulgaria" the most tragical event of the last summer in Russia. I do not know, how for whom, but for me the heaviest in this event was simultaneous and, probably, the painful death of several tens children.

Recently I has heard in news on the Euronews TV-channel that Jorge Semprún has died. I do not know, whether there was a similar message in news on the central Russian television channels: I do not look them because of continuous propagation. But I suspect that was not.
